Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 - sold out for 2011
With production of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 likely to run at no more than about 1,000 cars this year, it’s not the biggest shock in the world that we’re hearing every single LP700-4 slot for 2011 is already sold out. Whatever way you look at it, the LP700-4 does offer a remarkable set of performance stats, all wrapped up in a typically Lambo-esque body. It even gets a carbon fibre tub – long the preserve of the real high-end hypercars – and 0-60mph times that will spank the Huayra and have the Veyron looking over its shoulder.

The new series of Top Gear – Series 18 – starts on Sunday 29th January. We take a look at what’s on offer. The last outing for Top Gear was the slightly third-rate outing to India for the Christmas Special, but the latest series of Top Gear – Series 18, starting on Sunday January 29th – looks far more promising, certainly if the trailer and photos we’ve got to preview series 18 are anything to go by.
